Steam Link is now available on iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) and tvOS (Apple TV).
It is unclear what has happened in the meantime but the bottom line is that it has taken a year for Apple and Valve to come to an agreement. Steam Link for Apple TVIn May 2018, Valve announced that Steam Link was coming to iOS and tvOS (Apple TV) as well as Android and Android TV. It lets you play PC games on Apple TV via a PC in your home network. A year after Valve announced Steam Link for Apple TV, the app is now available to download for free.
